We didn’t do an Easter egg hunt. If we want colored eggs, we can just collect them from the chickens.
Julles couldn’t give up on the Easter basket/candy tradition, but she couldn’t find any Easter baskets left so she made one out of a mountain dew box and dumped a bunch of candy and cans of Pringles into it. Not exactly traditional but it was fun.
We had the older boys (James and Anthony) over for dinner (lime chicken and cob salad) and also celebrated James birthday with brownies and home-made ice cream. He got a birthday card from Berky grandparents as well as the beef jerky and peanuts we gave him – he is doing a low carb diet (except for Easter candy).
